Jeremy Seewer brought his season with Van Venrooy KTM Racing Team to a close with a strong performance at the Motocross of Nations in Ernée. The Swiss rider represented his country in the MX2 class and performed strongly despite not having ridden an MX2 bike for several years. With two consistent race results, Seewer finished fifth in the individual MX2 classification, while Switzerland ended the Nations in eighth place.

Seewer already showed on Saturday that he was comfortable on the challenging Ernée circuit. In the MX2 qualifying race, the experienced Swiss rider secured an impressive sixth-place finish.

On Sunday, the first race featured the MXGP and MX2 riders competing together. Seewer came through the opening lap in 18th place and managed to make up several positions as the race progressed. He eventually crossed the finish line in 15th place, making him the fifth MX2 rider in the overall classification.

Later in the day, Seewer returned to action in the combined MX2 and Open race. Once again, he had to begin his charge from the middle of the field. After the opening lap, he was running in 17th position.

Seewer continued to work his way forward strongly throughout the race and eventually crossed the finish line in 13th place. Within the MX2 class, this was enough for sixth position.

Based on his results across both races, Seewer finished fifth in the individual MX2 classification at the Motocross of Nations. His performances also made an important contribution to Team Switzerland’s result, with the Swiss team ultimately finishing eighth in the nations classification.

For Seewer and the Van Venrooy KTM Racing Team, this brought a strong end to a special season, during which the Swiss rider made the switch to the Dutch team and regularly showed the pace to compete inside the top ten.
